A day later, after ALPHA and his mates, DRAKE and EVRIN sweat as the police closes in on them, but they luckily survive and escape by a whisker.

They now can feel the heat of the police investigation into the gold heist from Abram Smith’s house and decide to flee Uganda; they are at the Airport heading for the sunny shores of California.

While at the Beach Apartment in California, it’s a breath taking sunny afternoon at the beach – the sunlit clouds drifting across a clear blue sky, interestingly they have quickly identified a group of beautiful girls to try and get along with, the challenge is how to get to join them. Coincidentally its St. Patrick’s day, so the revelers are drinking and enjoying in good spirits like they are going out of style.

It is dusk, and no other but the stubborn cunning Evrin makes the first move, he walks straight to the girls and engages them; Alpha and Drake join in shortly and serious banter ensues. It is here that Alpha meets the beautiful and charming CARLITA. 

Luckily, the connection seems mutual; the she gives him all the attention and he takes advantage, intelligently singles her out to the side and they’re engrossed into each other’s chat. Alpha quickly discovers Carlita’s family has a Ugandan connection – her dad has some good positive sentiments about Uganda.

Meanwhile as the above is going; and as their relationship blossoms, her cousin brother, an indignant, miffed ROSS. B is sulking, doesn’t like how fast Alpha is getting closer to Carlita, he tries to sabotage but all in vain. Alpha is concerned about Ross, but Carlita renders him extraneous and irrelevant.

The ‘chemistry’ between the two is way above the clouds already.  They have moved further away from the rest; Alpha is trying to build a connection with Carlita, trying to bod with her over her Artistic pursuits. They lean against a beach rock, Carlita is challenging Alpha, clearly expressing interest in him and demanding compliance but a cagy Alpha keeps twisting and turning the conversation back to her.

It’s getting dark, a beautiful disappearing sunset can be seen across the horizon. Alpha leads as they walk further away from the rock end.
